As some of you will be aware VHPA Organiser, Jay Morrison, left the Branch in March to return to full time study. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Jay for his contribution and wish him well for his future endeavors.
We are pleased to announce that Jody Betzien has been appointed to the position. Jody has a great deal of Union experience, a terrific work ethic and performed extremely well in the interview process and the practical test.
Jody commenced work with the VHPA on Tuesday 10 March. We feel confident that this appointment will be a boon for the members in Jody’s organising patch and for the Branch more broadly.
Jody spent three months working with the Branch in late 2014 on the highly successful Community Health Enterprise Agreement Campaign. His work on that campaign was invaluable and we are very pleased to have him back.
